Frank Bomers

Managing Partner

Frank started his professional career working in a boutique investment firm in the Netherlands. During this time he built up his expertise in building up new companies and turnaround distressed assets. In 2006 Frank founded his first start-up in Asia together with current partner Arnout Mostert. In 2010 Frank was one of the three founding partners of AccelerAsia. Frank has worked on business development projects related to (mobile) technology and media as well as marketing analytics in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Frank has a Masters degree in Financial Business Administration from the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam.

Joeri Gianotten

Partner, New Business

Joeri has a proven track record in building regional sales organisations. He launched ammado, a global Software as a Service company in Asia and served as its managing director for 3 years where he was responsible for closing deals with global brands such as Aviva, Coca Cola and Diageo. Prior to ammado, Joeri was head of business development Asia Pacific for RBS Worldpay, the global leader in online payments. He also served as Director, Asia Pacific for Red Herring, the leading technology magazine, and launched its conference business in Korea and China. He’s worked on business development projects related to (mobile) technology and media, as well as new marketing technologies in Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia.

Joeri holds a BA with honours from Haarlem Business School, Netherlands and Yonsei University, Korea and an Executive MBA from NUS/UCLA Business School.

Jan Willem van Walsum

Partner, Head of Growth

Jan Willem joined the team in 2011 and has since been actively involved with growing a variety of AccelerAsia’s portfolio companies across the Asia Pacific region, primarily focusing on innovative enterprise solutions for digital marketing and financial services industries.

Prior to AccelerAsia, Jan Willem was an entrepreneur in the online video and content space in the Netherlands, and before that was based in Singapore while working at the regional office of ABN AMRO Bank. He is a graduate in Business Administration of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Being of mixed Dutch and Chinese origin, as well as having grown up in an expat family across Europe, Asia and the U.S., Jan Willem is especially very passionate about bringing best in class technologies from Europe and the U.S. to Asia.

Emiko Tavernier

Senior Director

Emiko moved to Singapore as a fresh graduate from London where she joined Tudor Capital Singapore. Her passion for technology then led her to leave the corporate world and join the startup space where she took on a partnership development role at a messaging and collaboration platform.

She enjoys helping other startups achieve their goals and enable innovative new technologies to flourish here in Asia. She is leading the business develoment and Asia expansion of a lead activation platform and an IoT data management platform.

Emiko holds a BSc in Anthropology from UCL.

She is digital enthusiast, a devoted dog owner, an optimistic chef, and an avid reader.

Vincent Veehof

Partner, AccelerAsia Ventures

Vincent started his career in consulting in which he advised various companies regarding post merger integration issues. After five years of consulting, he joined TAQA, a-UAE based investment firm as Project Manager M&A in which Vincent was involved in numerous buy and sell transactions. He returned to the Netherlands in 2010 after which he started his own investment boutique. Vincent joined AccelerAsia in 2016 to spearhead the investment activities. He currently oversees a broad portfolio of active investments in different stages of their development from seed to series C as well as buy-out and distressed companies. Vincent holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in business administration and an MBA. He also completed executive programs at Wharton and INSEAD.

Alyx Pang

Senior Director

Alyx has been with AccelerAsia since 2013, and has been involved in business development for some of its digital media production and enterprise clients.

Before joining AccelerAsia, Alyx spent a year in Stockholm working for SenseGraphics AB, a haptic software technological start-up, where she was primarily responsible for communications, sales and marketing. Her involvement in Start Up Chile has also widened her network and interest in the start up scene.

Alyx has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore, where she majored in Communications and New Media and completed a minor in Technopreneurship.

She enjoys traveling, hiking, and has tried dirtbiking (which might grow into a hobby)!

Along the way she collects hotel key cards and maps (transit and world).

Seri Johan

Operations Director

Seri performs a variety of roles at AccelerAsia. Working in various industries over 12 years, she has managed artistes, helped craft complex travel and operational plans and produced merchandise for well-known kids’ fashion brands. She calls herself the Jill of (Some) Trades.

Seri is currently heading the HR function and Office Management in AccelerAsia. She keeps the moving parts of the company coordinated, is involved in training and development aspects of the current team, headhunts for potential candidates, onboards new hires and welcomes them to the fAAmily culture.

Seri recently inherited her late uncle’s thriving satay stall at the Esplanade. A satay hustler by night, she manages the stall and at times can also be seen barbecuing behind the counter.

Sham Sanusi

Associate Sales Director

Sham is a strong advocate of utilizing data and technology to facilitate digital transformation for businesses to overcome challenges and achieve business objectives.

He is always thinking of new ways to transform and integrate various data sets to provide a full 360-degree view for companies.

 

Van Nguyen

Senior Account Executive

Van started her 10 years career with travel media space where she published in-flight magazines and grew digital revenue for 5 different airlines in APAC. With passion for constant growth, peace and happiness, she joined AccelerAsia in 2022 to help bridge the east & west in technology & creative space.

Having spent the majority of her teen years growing up in Singapore, her favourite things in life are chicken seaweed and Bee Hoon.

She enjoys nature runs, aikido and playing piano in her “me-time”.

Ezzati Azmi

Senior Account Executive

Ezzati has over five years of business development and sales & marketing experience. Having had the opportunity to work with one of the largest technology company in China and a Scale Up company in Singapore, she has equipped herself with a good understanding of the technology landscape in the supply chain and sustainability space. In her prior roles, she was responsible for business development activities in Southeast Asia and developing markets such as Africa and the Middle East. With a deep passion for leveraging technology to support social outcomes, she volunteers and deploys various digital initiatives as a Grassroots Leader for her constituency and at Free Food For All Charity.

Bing Ying (BY) Low

Senior Account Executive

With his strong interest in STEM, BY spent his formative years honing his analytical skills at the National University of Singapore, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Through a series of fortunate events, he stepped into the role of business development and has never looked back, relishing the challenges that came along. Spring-boarding on Accelerasia’s vast network in APAC, BY strives to build opportunities for technology companies and scale their growth.

A foodie at heart, he also enjoys travelling, spending time in the great outdoors, running, cycling, reading, and watching films.

Andi Lubis

Account Executive

Andi began his career working in the Telco and IT industries in various roles from pre sales, project management to sales roles in business development and account management. Having experiences in the large companies, he then began the journey of working in tech startup companies to help build their business from inception to growing into million dollar revenues. He is passionate in helping enterprises to digitize and transform their businesses and gain benefit from technology solutions.
During his spare time, Andi loves travelling, spending time trekking in nature, playing tennis and watching movies.

Amelia Sim

Coming from a hospitality & tourism background, a chance opportunity introduced Amelia to the world of tech startups, where she built up her skills in business development, and grew a strong interest in learning about technology’s impact on eCommerce and travel.

Outside of work, she enjoys pilates, scuba diving and spending time with her dog & bunnies!

Account Executive

After graduating from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice as a Philosophy, Economics and International Studies major, Joy decided to return to South East Asia and pursue a career either in Technology or Healthcare – the two industries she feels deeply passionate about. Through a series of fortunate events, she winds up with the former.

In her previous role, she was working at a full-service eCommerce agency, providing services ranging from consulting, website development, UI/UX design to managed services across Southeast Asia. In her new role at AccelerAsia, Joy will be responsible for introducing the region that is her homeland to the best-of-breed technologies and products on our portfolio, as well as exploring growth and revenue opportunities for the insanely talented start-up companies that are our partners.

During her free time, Joy loves exploring uncharted places, visiting historical sites, and frequenting museums. Architecture, photography, and art are her cup of tea.

Kevin Yong

Account Executive

Kevin spent his undergraduate years in Singapore Management University studying Business Management and majoring in Finance, before deciding to leave the finance industry behind to pursue his passions.

His interest in the start-up scene and Tech space drove him to join AccelerAsia as our first Business Development Representative hire responsible for growing our portfolio of clients. Before joining AccelerAsia, Kevin was a former co-founder of a Korean barbecue business, a headhunter, and an investment banking analyst.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys doing Muay Thai, rock climbing, playing mahjong, and watching the latest Netflix series.

Vern’s career began in the world of finance, but his passion for fostering new relationships and driving growth led him to pivot into the dynamic realm of tech sales.

He enjoys the art of lead generation and is dedicated to empowering individuals within this space. He is always thinking of creative ways to navigate the ever-evolving tech landscape.

During his down time, Vern enjoys being creative in the kitchen, travelling, and spending time with his family.

Chalida (Gib) Hongmungkorn

Senior Sales Development Representative

After completing her study in the UK, Chalida came back to Thailand and further pursued her career in SaaS, which led her to AccelerAsia.

Chalida has been involved in business development for real estate, SaaS and enterprise clients. She is now currently working as Senior Sales Development Representative. The industries she focuses on are telco and marketing tech. She is using technology to aid in digital transformation for companies, in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish their objectives.

She loves travelling, food and now picking up Krav Maga.

Thadarat (Many) Chaipanya

Senior Sales Development Representative

After graduating from Thammasat University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy major, she started her career exploring by applying for a hospitality internship in the states and then joining a french travel startup company in Thailand.

Her interest in tech growth in APAC, Leads her to step into AccelerAsia to expand opportunities for technology companies in the APAC market.

During her free time, besides hiking and gardening, she also loves spending time in a record store to discover some cool pieces from the old times.

Amina Dashdorj

Sales Development Representative

Amina is a business development professional primarily responsible for the regional expansion for successful B2B SaaS companies in the FinTech and MarTech industries. Amina obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Greenwich, majoring in International Business Studies. She is also specialised in Project Management and is pursuing a CAPM from the Project Management Institute. She is ambitious, diligent and enthusiastic to learn and observe market changes in response to technology developments.

Sean Yong

Sales Development Representative

Sean spent his undergraduate years in National University of Singapore, achieving his Bachelors in Social Science. Following that, he went into the social service sector, spending time mentoring troubled youth.

His interest in the tech space together with his passion for sales led him to AccelerAsia, as one of our Sales Development Representatives. Before AccelerAsia, Sean was a former co-founder of a logistics consultancy, a youth worker and an inside sales associate.

In his free time, Sean enjoys doing calisthenics, swimming and watching football. He also recently picked up cooking.

Bobby Teo

Sales Development Representative

Bobby spent his undergraduate years at Nanyang Technological University studying Electrical Engineering and specialising in Computer Engineering, before deciding to leave the circuits behind to pursue his passions.

With a passion for both technology and building connections, Bobby brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to the AccelerAsia team as a Sales Development Representative. Before that, he was a former co-founder of a coffee startup and a sales strategy consultant.

Outside of work, he enjoys coffee brewing, working out and exploring nature.

Monisha Punjabi

Sales Development Representative

Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Monisha pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Exhilarated by the emerging tech landscape and its positive future outcomes, she has the vision to contribute to the burgeoning platform.

In her previous role, she was working at a SaaS company, honing her abilities in developing new markets and opportunities while managing various key accounts. In Accelerasia, Monisha will be responsible for expanding into and penetrating APAC business markets.

Monisha spends her free time exercising and hunting for the best chocolate desserts in the city! She also has a huge passion for travelling with the aim to try all the unique foods each country has to offer and meet new people.

Odilia Mukti

Sales Development Representative

Odilia joined AccelerAsia as Sales Development Representative in Jakarta. She worked with tech companies to help them kickstart their expansion in Asia Pacific.

She started her sales career at Glints as International Business Associates, helping enterprises to scale their team in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

Odilia graduated from Airlangga University majoring in Health Policy and Administration with concentration in Health Marketing Management.

In her free time, she can be found strolling around Jakarta using public transportation. She also enjoys exercising and watching series. She used to work as a Barista and that’s the beginning of her 2 cups of coffee a day routine.

Sarah Navarra

Sales Development Representative

Sarah is currently working as a Sales Development Representative for AccelerAsia empowering technology companies from Europe and Asia through scaling up. She has been in the information technology and services industry for more than 5 years and her key skills include Management, Customer Satisfaction, Leadership, and Customer Experience.

She loves to read books, hike and surf. The brightness of the sun and the stillness of the water are always her home and because of that, she’s calm and collected.

She wants to be an IT someday focusing on cybersecurity because she believes that in this era where technology is advancing every day, we need to protect ourselves and the future generation from cybersecurity exploitations.

Anna Borines

Sales Development Representative

Anna, also known as A.C. by family and friends, is fond of traveling. She doesn’t travel for anything else, but food. She also dreams of becoming a nomad someday.
In her professional years, she worked as a Business Development Manager for big accounts in Australia, North America and Asia Pacific regions. She has expertise in accounts relative to Travel, Real Estate, Hospitality & Management, and Health Insurance. These experiences have molded her into who she is today. Her wide variety of connections and capability to communicate well have landed her to close big accounts and later on created a unique relationship retaining longevity of stay for continuous business.

A believer of “you reap what you sow”, your actions and hard work today will definitely pay off tomorrow.
